[QUOTE="abodyjoe, post: 910924793, member: 20"

i haven't given a **** about much other then taking care of the family and myself for a long time.

lol....... you answered the question

or maybe I really do still give a ****? ....... now I'm confused

i'm trying to figure out what you gave a **** about that you no longer give a **** about..

I had trees and limbs down all over in early March...... I didn't give a ****

since then we had 3 more storms with more mess, now I can clean it all at once....... a perfect example of how not giving a **** pays off

the old lady starts bitching....... used to piss me off, now I laugh at her....... life is good!

me it was have two "fits" a week apart and the being left in a bed with no idea unit was I was or where I was for three months before I "can't back" still have on idea what happened . but really thought "who give a f*ck " and the was no-one

Lying in a hospital bed hooked up to machinery monitoring your every move makes one give a ****.....for a while. Mine was coffee induced combined with giving too many fucks away....been given the all-clear by the heart specialist, so I just have to be a little more conscious about what I shove in my mouth these days.

Seeing all those trails of Interns and pretend Doctors wandering by for a 'show and tell' look at me got me more than a little pissed off. One Chinese bitch even had her hand bag over her shoulder like she was on her way out to dinner. Finally been weened off the heart pills, and still feeling no ill effects from having taken them for near enough 4 years.

Damn you had it bad...

Life takes on a different meaning, when it looks like it's limited

Not mine, and I thank/apologise to whoever may have posted this before....

Marine Corps Fighter Pilot

After his plane was hit and he was forced to eject, the Marine Corps fighter pilot finally regained consciousness. He was in a hospital, in a lot of pain. He found himself in the ICU with tubes/IV drips in both arms, a breathing mask, wires monitoring every function and a nurse hovering over him, looking worried. It was obvious he was in a life-threatening situation.

The nurse gave him a serious look, straight into his eyes. Knowing he was not only a fighter pilot, but a Marine, she spoke to him softly and slowly, enunciating each word: "You may not feel anything from the waist down.”

Somehow he managed to mumble in reply, "Can I feel your tits, then?”

diagnosed with a heart condition.
forced to wear a vest with sensors and a big *** fanny pack that held the battery, ready to administer the 'therapy'.
as they finally interpreted the readouts correctly, vest with kick start would have NOT done anything, as it was WRONG device.
now pacemaker dependent. first unit battery ran down after 6 1/2 years.
2nd unit, in my chest 8 months, get a call, 'we have to schedule you in. your new device is 'subject to sudden rapid battery depletion'. i was in a big job. wanted to do it in a few months.... (delay, delay, delay....... typical male response).
'NO, You don't have that option. you need to get this done NOW.
gotter done. ya think, with a factory recall, they would have eaten the cost? naw, this is America. they charged the insurance, and the insurance paid, again. price went up only 10g in a year.
diagnosed with celiac disease......... took the fun out of eating, and, drinking good beer.
20 months from retirement. the kids coming into the field......... oh boy. the whole industry seemed to change. not for the better.
i don't give a ****....... im outta here

Hmmm....about two seconds after I killed the towel head that was dragging my previously unconscious *** across the sand...
