THIS is the only GTO I recognize!
The other is just a Ferrari to me.

I'd NEVER purchase a Ferrari
IF I was stupid rich (like RC) I'd purchase a Lamborghini IF I were in that market.

I only LOVE American Muscle.

Yeah RC
That dude is so cool

He's the opposite of the Barrett-Jackson Circus Clowns!
No Ski, before Amy and Spanky left the crew, I could listen to him sing auctions all day long! The Brit is a bore, he's like listening to Ben Stein.

From THIS picture....

The guy sure looks like he would have Interior Decorating skills, Prefers the music of CHER rather than The Rolling Stones and likes to sleep naked on his belly....

The wine and cheese folks are on a different plane than many of us. Anyway, here is his wife...Mrs Max Girardo

Cobra Daytona
You know?
A few were Junked/scrapped in England in the early years
WHY?
Ford did not want them, introduction of the GT40 replaced them!

I think a couple were scrapped in the ocean
Ken Miles talks about this in his book.
There were only 6 Daytona Coupes built, 4 complete cars, all campaigned, 2 unfinished cars when work began on GT-40. Shelby American sold off(not Ford)the unfinished cars, one of which, chassis #6, was completed during the eighties, not sure about other, the #5 car.
When Pete Brock designed the Coupe body(by instinct, no wind tunnels or ticker tape), he closely modeled it off the lines of the 250 GTO. Though not similar in appearance, the geometry of space taken up by either was very close. The GTO was one hundred eighty mph top end, the Daytona was one hundred eighty five mph top end. That makes for white knuckle racing, & the Coupe was the first car to knock the GTO(in class, not over all) from its winning streak since the days Ferrari beat out the Jaguar D types.
Then came the GT-40, all DNF'd in 65, then 66 & 67 were the one, two three over all wins.
Racing like that will never again be.....now it's just more politically correct bs, NASCAR being the biggest butt of a joke. IMO

I used to love those cars! It's amazing that a modern base V6 Camaro, with no turbo or intercooler and a smaller engine has more power and is faster than that GNX.
I would still rather have the GNX......

Ha Ha
Yeah huh?
that "little Amy" was a spark!
everyone wanted to watch her
Spankey & Amy Lassiter
Spanky was TOPS!

Photon440...is this REAL?
A GNX is not as fast as a new v6 Camaro?

really?
