under hood light

Wear can i buy a under hood gravity light? I like the factory light in the trunk,its getting dark early now so when my hood is up at our cruise in i would like to shine some light on it.thanks brossssssssssssss.

they are usually easy to find on aftermarket car accesories shops, at least locally was easy quite ago. Maybe in fact grab someone from some trunk around

I got one from a 2000 Durango in a salvage yard. It has the micro switch that turns it on when the hood is opened. Make sure you get the pigtail with both male and female plug.

I installed one of those tilt switch sockets system once but was a bad quality one. Sometimes got turned on even without being "tilted" by the hood open and was draining my batt so decided to remove it. Mostly sure will reinstall one BUT will use an extra Rear deffog switch I have laying around to turn it on on one position and maybe will add fog lights underneath the bumper to be turned on on next switch position

Of all places, Harbor Freight has oval LED lights with magnets in the back. I keep two of them in my glovebox for night shows.
