I have a set of newly worked and decked 452 heads for my 440. Is there a left and right head or no? If so how can u tell?

No, they go either side. Just a question, did you have them "pocket ported'? Opening the area under any big block Mopar stock head is worth a bunch of power. I'm sure my first pocket port gained about 50 HP. The next many efforts at porting gained another 50 - 75 HP. Opening that area right under the valve seat really makes a difference.

Check the bolt holes on the ends for good threads, (where the alternator and brackets go) just in case they are stripped or helicoiled. You can use the good head on the passenger side.

Nope. Mild build. Just added Keith Black Hyp pistons.

In my experienced opinion, you would be very happy if the pocket porting was done on 452's. But that's your call.
