The metal fob as pictured above plus a bumper sticker, a iron on T-Shirt transfer, a round Scat Pack decal and a membership card was mailed out to the owners purchasing a new Dodge which was part of the "Scat Pack" program. That is why I asked the question in regards to the Plymouth line. Dad purchased our Charger in 69 and I have the mail out and never thought about it until Justin posted the Plymouth mailing. Possibly some original owners who may be on here can offer some insight.

IIRC the scat pack club was advertised to become a member and then once a member then you received that kit.....the advertisement was either in a magazine or displayed on a poster at the dealer....I have not seen a mailer for that in 69 yet.....
The question of a mailer for a purchase I have not seen one either.....either that didn’t happen or it was tossed...
As far as extending into later years I don’t have a clue.....I am only focusing o. 69....
You should see the material I have for a 69 charger. Way more dealer material than the Plymouth division...
That is why I am thinking that the Dodge Scat Pack program was a lead up to the Rapid Transit System for Plymouth in 1970. I believe that the Hustle Stuff was more oriented to over the counter sales and started some time in 1970. It is becoming so much more difficult to factually document these programs with each passing year that hopefully this information is still around for the 100th anniversary of our cars even though most of us will not be here.
I know with the 81 Mirada new purchase in that year, Chrysler sent out a yearly subscription of a small magazine and it continued with the purchase of my 87 Dodge truck. But I have no clue on the Plymouth marketing program through the years.

Attached is a picture of the contents of the 69 Dodge Scat Pack mailing that went out to new members. It is missing the iron on transfer for the Scat Pack Bee and the membership card which I have displayed with the car. I just wonder if it continued on into the 1970 model year and did Plymouth have something similar that they sent out to new owners or members signing up???

I think your on the right path until proven otherwise.....The volume of dealership material between Plymouth/Dodge is a big sway.....Dodge has 4 additional dealer brochures etc.....My collection of these started with having a charger and the GTX....I wish I would have paid more attention years ago.....
What would be cool is for a museum to do a Mopar dealer display. Display a car with the supportive dealer paperwork. Really, going back in time walking into a dealer in 69 and what was available...At the Gilmore they have a Cadillac dealer mock up....

The RTS was not as popular as the scat pack club......Everything I see for the RTS is mainly posters....The scat pack I see what you posted above and the jacket......
I think this shows the clear difference of marketing between the two brands......Plus, selling RR was no problem and GTX's were for the guys with a few more bucks......
The Super bee was the big push for branding of the "scat pack" advertising...
Justin, very good points. God only knows what we threw away years ago which would be a treasure trove today. Carlisle until they sold off the old John Deere dealership next door to the fairgrounds would dress the building out with period correct cars, memorabilia, tools and signage of the time period being depicted. It was like going back in time to see that display. For me, that was the highlight of the weekend. Once it was sold off to become the brewery / restaurant, it was a big let down.

Pretty cool...but guys I don't want to load my thread with material not in relation to my build......Find that example for 1969....We are focusing on 1969 model year here and trying to determine when the RTS came into effect.......
The information that is available proves RTS was in "full" effect in 1970......However, the consideration and movement happened in late 69. Original documents from Chrysler division relating to this in 69 would be a nice find and maybe the CHS has some. Typically, the advertising of things of that nature happen prior to the release and that is what Richard is referring to. It would be nice to find such material.......
