PVC Hose Collapsing - 63 Plymouth

I noticed that my PVC hose collapses after a long drive. My poly engine was rebuilt about 2 years ago with some modifications (mild cam, solid lifters..). I've been searching for the correct PVC valve and oil cap for my car. I will be locating a hose I likely can find easily enough; but does anyone have a suggested source for the valve and oil cap for this car? Thanks.

PCV hose is reinforced, can't use fuel line. Got mine from Quirey.

Get a power brake vaccum hose, will not collapse. Got mine at napa.
I just cleaned my pcv out as best I could, works fine. Haven't found a source for new.

Just ordered a canister vac/reservoir as have had problems with sinking brake pedal but had thought a collapsing PVC hose is more due to too much vacuum? Since my filler cap and valve are old reckoned time to replace them even though the valve seems to operate fine and had cleaned it - I've heard aged valves can create other failures. As for hose, yeah will replace this...Thanks

PM me if you still want a NOS pvc. Retained by a nut from the top of the filler cap. $10+ postage.

If your PVC valve is the original all metal type (should be), those things are rock solid, as far as lasting. Just needs a good cleaning, now and then. Only thing I know of that can make them bad, is rust. Shake it, should hear the valve floating freely.
Yep, needs the correct hose, to work right.

I know if you use fuel line for oil it gets soft and mushy. I would try hose designed for oil. I bet it will fix your problem. Some hoses are multi purpose as well. But fuel hose doesn’t like oil.
