Holley Sniper EFI

Dan,

I'll be installing my kit on Friday so i'll let you know how it turns out. It's only going to be controlling fuel, I already have a forward/return style fuel system installed.

470ci low-deck stroker with M1-4500 intake manifold with 2" 4500 intake - 4150 carb adapter.

Just finished the install today, took around four hours (I already had a forward and return fuel system). When you adjust the tps (idle screw) to get the IAC within 10%; simply reset the ecu with keyed 12v (shut engine off). Once it restarts, it will automatically adjust to the new throttle position with the iac. I have a 267* @ .050 SFT camshaft, idles perfectly and cranks instantly. Throttle response is fantastic.

This car turned into a monster, wow, I had no idea there would be this much of a difference over a well-tuned carb. Throttle response is instant. Should have done this last year. Just drove it for a test drive with my 9” converter, took one 1-2nd gear change to learn and absolutely no hesitation after. It’s running a dead set 14:1 at cruise, 13.5:1 @ idle. Haven’t taken it to WOT.

Took it for another 20-minute drive, no hesitation at all. Coming up to a light, doesn’t even drop the rpm in 1st with my 267* @ .050 camshaft, no drama, ever, the IAC takes control. Really, really impressed so far. My father drove it today and was stating this is the best modification we’ve installed to this point. Btw cranked right up again today a few hours later, came home, cut the car off, cranked right back up. So far it’s great. I’ve done zero tuning to this point. It’s running exactly where the AFR target is set.

Did your kit come with the coolant temp sensor. I don't see it on my kit.

Does anyone know any issues if you are going from an RTR distributor with no ballast resistor to the Holley EFI distributor?

Hey all,
Happy memorial day weekend. The sniper Question i received was, if you want to buy a ready to run distributor, can you upgrade to timing control down the road.

The answer is yes, and this is not hard.

Remember, i carry everything to do this on our new website, or PM / tag me for help.

here's the sniper.

Here are our ready to run distributors (That can later be upgraded for timing control)

B Block

RB block

SB

to run timing control with the above, you simply need to swap the module to a 2 wire pickup, and buy a phasable rotor, below.

I do have a 2 wire SB distributor also.

hope this clears up any confusion. The above units are tried and true, pro billets, that work great with EFI.

Unfortunately tanksinc and other companies that I found don't make a efi ready gas tank for a 66 coronet. Does anyone know of a custom tank builder that could handle a job like that?
Hi Dan I know its spilled milk now but Summit and Jegs both sell the tank ready to go

I know I saw them for 67 cars but you see them for 66 b bodies now also?

Where and how is everyone running their supply and return lines? I installed the TanksInc tank and pump in my ‘70 Coronet, hope to run the lines tonight. I have twin three eights lines and they are flexible. Do I run them in the stock location under the passenger side rocker or where?

When I did mine I bought a 25 foot coil of aluminum tubing. I mimicked the exact path of the existing feed line. Made it very easy.

gtxno1, I searched both jegs and Summit. I cannot find an EFI ready, in tank fuel pump, tank for a 1967 Coronet. I saw your reply above and got all excited since I am installing a Fitech in my 496 stroked 383. Hopefully you can send a link to these tanks. Thank you.

I believe the charger and coronet use the same fuel tank.

66chargerpat, thank you. I believe you are correct. I will verify and if so, this will help greatly.

I did some research and the tanks are the same. However for my hp level, I need the aei-18464. This has the 340lph pump.
