There were said to be 67 and red one cruised the main drag here in the 70's. It might still exist.
I recently tracked a 1970 Hemi Challenger R/T a friend of mine had. It had a 440 when he bought it so nobody but me cared back then. I tracked it through him, a few owners after him, and finally a junk yard. I found the car. They guy chopped it up many years ago and learning it was a Hemi car, he said: "I never looked at the VIN". He still has it, but it's a mess.

There were two 500 Chargers in town and the second car's owner is still around, but if all of the Hemi cars are accounted for, I'll only ask him what happened to his.

I looked for, and found a Hemi Challenger that has been lost for 30 years. Now I want to find a Hemi Charger that might be setting in a barn, but if they are all accounted for, I won't waste my time.

There is a 500 that races in the Northeast:rolleyes:

Call Galen Govier he has the “infamous” charger 500 list hidden under lock and key......

My friend just bought a REAL 1969 charger 500 Hemi 4 speed. Very nice car.
