Metermatch- Gauge Calibrator

Tried one, it sucked. It kept losing calibration. Tried it with and without electronic gauge voltage regulator. No difference.

I have one in my 69 Dart. The first one worked great. then I accidently grounded it, and killed it. My fault. I told them what happened, and they sent me another for free. Works fine. The people there are very helpful. Threewood should call them up, and see if they will replace it.

If I can find it I will. Here is a picture of me trying to get it to work...

The wires look wrong. The way your picture is, it doesn't look right. The wire on the right is power. The wire 2nd from the right is ground. 3rd from right is to gauge. 4th from right is from the sending unit. The one all the way to the left is for an alarm. If you still have the old style IVR, you turn the rotary dial to 7. There's more in the directions where it says voltage correction at the top of the page. Read that whole page.

i just got my Tanksinc Metermatch in today...hope to install it over the weekend

my fuel level setup is a tube-style sending unit from Classic Instruments (SN38 0-90ohms range) that is running over to an Autometer 0-90ohm gauge. all new wiring; all outside of the OEM stuff in the 66 Coronet. even with this setup the gauge is a bit off.

will see if it forces things to display more accurately.
