Hello, our 73 satellite has a 1" front sway bar, I'm sure it is a factory sway bar but everything I can find for bushing sets are 7/8. I think it must have a police or taxi package because the strut rod bushings were wrong and the ones for police or taxi fit them. The car has a factory rear sway bar also which appears to be on the rare side. Does anyone know where I can find a bushing kit to fit this 1" sway bar?

I don't where you can find one but once I get home I can give you the original Mopar part number for the 1" bar bushing if that would help. I saw a section in the Big Blue Book that was for police applications.

Is it a 400 car?

I believe they were .93 or .96

Ok thanks

Sorry 340 6pack, I just got home. According to the book under the POLICE-TAXI section for Sway Bar Front-All models it refers to section 17-1 This section lists the shaft as 17-29-5 Going to that section your part number for a 318 satellite is 3402 891
If it had a 400,440 eng. then 3722 411 Without looking further maybe the 441 is a 1" bar but I don't know that as my book only gives the part number not the specifics. Hope this helps.

this bushing number takes me to the size that I have. I'm trying to find out what size the big block bar number is now.

The only other number shown is for Sta. Wgn. W/H.D. That number is 3402 624

Something wierd is going on here. That number takes me to the same size of bushing. Thanks for looking for me. I think that I will buy some universal 1" sway bar bushings and see if I can get lucky and find some that I can make work. If not I may have to get a new sway bar kit and put it on. Thanks again for your time and help.

Or take the smaller units make a holder then freeze
Drill out with a 15/16 drill with cold water for lube
