Painting 440

Hi,

I have my engine out of the charger and want to paint it like the factory did.
But wich parts do i need to paint, like waterpump, fuellpump ect or do they stay metal??

fuel pump, water pump, exhaust manifolds were all on the motor when it was painted.

Here a little update,
Getting it done bit by bit, need to put the fuelpump on it and paint that also.
It has headers so no paint on them.

I think there's an engine stand there? Please tell me there's a stand there....in the picture, to me, it looks like it's just sitting on a stack of blocks

Yes but its made in China i think so it cant handle the engine.. so i putted some blocks underneeth just for sure lol.
Plan is when my clutch is here bolt the tremec on it and put them on the K member and slide it under the car.. think its the best way to put it in.. dont wanna mes with the whole shabang from above the car.
Hope it works out with the headers bolted on the engine before i install it..

You will be happier installing the headers afterwards. I'm fairly sure the center link and starter at a minimum will interfere.

set the headers in the car and lay them back on the fenders
Then install the engine
The headers will be in place and much easier to bolt up

Wil see but starter can be bolted in before i think and than let the car drop down on the engine and trans i hope, but wil see lol.. if not than just the other way.. keeps me out ouf the street now with this corona.....
Waiting on my flywheel now.. they are putting a new heatshield in the flywheel but its taking 3 weeks now. But lots of other things to fresh up in the mean time!
