Ramcharger is a name of a group of engineers what are you try asking for ? AND OR SLANG FOR FAST AS HELL. and a trim level for dodge pick up trucksinstallation of a Ramcharger on a 318 engine will it fit
Ramcharger hood box for 70 CoronetWe need a bit more info on what you are talking about.
Ramcharger hood box for 70 CoronetI would guess there may be some dimensional differences between the air box and the throat of the carburetor/air cleaner assembly.
Late RamCharger hoods/systems (71) were used with 340's.
Seems like an expensive investment for a 318 if you are using original or repro parts.
I have a 4 barrel carb, car is in shop being restored in Beaverton i am located in TorontoDo you have a 4 barrel on it?? Don't see why not, but you'd have to make a carb throat to base plate adapter if running a 2 barrel. Where are you in Ontario?
Measure inner fender to carb center distance on both sides and from the edge of the cowl to the carb center and I'll compare the carb position to a big block ramcharger set up.
Yes,Nigel doing it? Is the engine in place to get measurements?
thanks i will get back to youMaybe he has another B body on the go at the same time with a big block in it for a quick carb position comparison. If not, get him to measure it's position as I noted above. Tell him Wayne O'Shea is helping you out...
That's a nice one, I had a 78 ramcharger……….It broke down every day for a month until the 318 spun a rod bearing.I've seen a Ramcharger pass over a boulder the size of a 318 so I'm sure it could.....
