Now that the car interior is stripped I decided to put my two lug nut keys in a safe place. So safe I can’t find then ya dig?

So where the fu$& did I put them?

and why would you ask that question here...

- box of parts
- tool box
- wherever the rest of your interior **** is at...

Because I am the only who misplaces his **** and then spends more time looking for it than the job itself. Nobody can relate.....

You put the keys in a secret place for what reason?

Hid my garage keys when on vacation. Came home forgot where they were. Ok put a shoulder on the door figuring frame would split but nooo door broke. Stayed broke 20 years fixed this past winter. Found keys 6 months later in a pants pocket I don't wear. Reason for locking garage my kid might have "friends" over. Kept mine in trunk in bracket that attaches to wheel well.

I understand your problem. And this I why I put off organizing my shop. I pretty much know where everything is now and if I move too many things at once, I won't remember where they all are. And as a result a I have severel of the same tools. For example, I know I have 4 Cleco pliers, um.... some where?. Anyway you'll find it eventually. .....

Safe places at the tine make perfect sense! I’ve been broke since I started with cars.

Old ways old age lol

It's in the same place I left the perfect build sheet for the 70 FK5 6 pack RR 16 years ago. I scanned it and made a half dozen copies and put it in that safe place and have not found it again.

I think they're in the house, not the garage. You put them in a drawer or a box, the one that as all the other small stuff, guitar picks, spare keys for locks that don't even exist, random business cards etc.

Just figure out where would be the last place you look. They are always there! :D

This is a easy task to find what you lost. Buy new and never put them in the same place again.

Welp unless I have some code but not sure I can order the right key.
