Crazy,on crack, or both?

I figure he made one of two mistakes in his add. Either he has one too many zeros on the price, or.... he meant to say ..."seiously stupid mopar buyers please."
Edit on the "360?" he says... all sales final, NO RETURNS. He KNOWS its crap, broke, or not what he claims.
Maybe it came out of that scatter pack coda.

I knew trucks could be had with a 360 2bbls, but I didn't know cars ever got them.
I was also under the impression that 318 engines were all 2bbls,until about 1978.
I guess I got some learning to do on the small blocks, lol!

I also just noticed the 383 for sale says its #'s matching!
#'s matching to what? A car that no longer exists?
OK the vin# on the engine matches the vin on the trans, will anyone care about that, when the car they came from is scraped?
360s were available in C bodies as the option to the 318 and 383.

I found this for sale local, he says he also has a bridge in Brooklyn he will let me have cheap!!

It's a stroker engine? No! The owner had a stroke!

1971 DODGE POLARA 383 big block Stroker,V8 ENGINE This tells me hes a moron... or a Chevy guy... I hate it when I tell people I have a 383 and the very first thing out of their trap is.. Ahh a Stroker... My immediate thought is MORON...
moron and chevy guy same thing! Lol

So the 360 2bbl was available only in C-bodies (and trucks) or in B-bodies also?
Not in Bs until real late in the production. Cordobas, etc.
And in As as the 340 replacement. Then in the Diplomats, etc for police use.
Allpar.com is a good reference.

Next thing you know he posts that if nobody gives him his price then nobody at all can have it...... then dumps it in a lake.

Must be a Chevy guy! cause 383s are strokers to them!! a 350 crank in a 400 block, I think

Nope, 400 crank cut down mains (or a new crank, designed for the purpose) in a 350 block. .030 is a 383, .060 is 388. 350 crank with main bearing spacers, in a 400 block is a 377.

The reason I think he is asking $4300, not $430 is because he has a 360 for $1500, so I would think a 383 is almost always worth more then a 360.

If it really was $430, I would have driven the 35 miles to Kingston and bought it, way before I let anyone else know about it,LOL!!!
