Hi fellas,
Yesterday, I painted the insert section of the beltline trim for my 65 Belvedere with the title paint from OER. I used a medium/dark gray self etching primer after scuffing the trim, two light coats per the can instructions. Primed Thursday. The argent was also two light coats per the can instructions. The issue I have is a purplish hue, especially under the LED garage lighting.
Out side-cloudy, I can still see a hint of purple. In full sunlight-it looks dark gray to me. Can anyone here relate any experience similar to this? Is this a characteristic of the Dark Argent? Thanks!

What type of paint? Was it a custom mix put in a spray bomb? Or did you buy off the shelf pre mixed?

I purchased two aerosol cans from OER. It was difficult to locate at the time.

Most of those colors for old mopars were and are mixable . Alot of the silvers have violet tinters in the formulas. You got one that had more than you want.

Mike, will it show up in a picture?.
Does this look correct? It is under the LED lamps.

How old is that paint, maybe try shaking it a lot more n trying again, paint the underside of one n compare

Try 1965 Dodge paint code NN-1. Silver. Sometimes they used main colors for accent trim pieces.
