Hello,
I know the 187 Oil Pan used to be in a C-Body. But can anyone tell if it will also fit in a 74 B-Body?

Yes.

187 is the "desirable" pan for big blocks into an A body.

So, yes it will work in a B.

Possibly you could turn it over to BB A body project guy for a profit and then buy a "402" pan cheap.

Oh, thank you for that info. I dont think i will find someone around here who does an a-body bigblocl swap right now. So i will use it as long as someone around is searching one.

I got a 699 oil pan which is the same as 187 pan , fit my big block 67 b body just fine , I switched out to a hemi pan to hold more oil.
don't know if that will help you any.
