Does anyone have a factory Master Cylinder for late 60's B Body? Back when they were the 4 piston calipers. Here is what they look like. Very unique cover shape, like a pyramid.

Jim,

Ive had my share of factory disc brake cars and Ive never seen that shape lid before

I may even have an original 68-69 disc brake master cylinder for core here somewhere

That’s what I’m after. Wanna sell it or will you use it for yours? The photos are from 68/69 FSM and parts book.

Maybe there was a last minute design change and they never updated the books.

Did you contact "The Ram Man"?
Someone there may be able to shed some light on that odd cover.
If you haven't seen it already, open this document, it describes original Mopar MCs with part numbers.

Why would anyone contact "The Ram Man"? Wayyyy to many people have been 'Rammed" by Wayne to suggest using him....

And FWIW the guy who wrote the article that Wanye has on his website as a tech reference Brad Schroeder (who's an active member of quite a few websites) has nothing good to say about him either...

As Bill mentioned I've never seen that cover anywhere but in the service manual...

Here's the info on the correct M/C..

Too bad. Guess too many had bad results over the years.

Let me look this weekend.

I " think" i have one....if so all its gonna cost you is the gas to come get it.

No way in Hades is that worth that kind of money

As a general rule, Hemi exits towards inner fender. BUT Ive seen my share of non hemi cars exit the same side.

I had 2 , one core and one aftermkt reman.

I will look around tomorrow and let you know.

Im not sure im gonna worry about OE correct on my car. Mine is a 66 , so no matter which one I use,,,,its wrong

Wait a tick, these all exit the passenger side that's why I did not find these before. I am looking for one that exits out the drivers side of the MC. I am having a heck of a time finding those....

That m/c is not universal, my 69 Hemi bird has the ports on the driver's side, like the rest of them.

In the original post the request was a factory Master Cylinder for late 60's B Body? Back when they were the 4 piston calipers. The was no mention of it being a Hemi car.... I suppose if I'd paid attention to the ports on the M/C in the picture I might have known but since I read the text I used that info.... You want Hemi? Thats casting number 2225621. here's what's available on Ebay...

Ah I see where I was failing.. I was searching for the real part numbers... everyone lists them using the casting numbers. Thanks.
