Is there a place that you guys trust to buy a rebuilt or rebuild Carter 2bbl Carburetor for my 1967 Plymouth Belvedere? I am trying to get my car running right and the carb is leaking from the gaskets. Not really wanting a cheaper one as I have had issues with those in the past. Thank you in advance!

Eli, Woodruff Carburetor Specialties………Dave’s got an Ad top right corner posted….give him a call…he just refurbished a Carter AVS Four Barrel for me….

Woodruff should make it anyway you want it…..
Woodruff Carbs is an excellent choice.....but, condider looking on eBay for a Carter or Amazon Prime.... they were asking $75.00 plus free shipping. Some 1967 LA 318 engines used a Stromberg WWC3 carb. The pix below is a Carter BBD 2 barrel.......just a thought....

AnyBody have Long term results on those Cheap New 2 BBL. Carbs.on E-bay ?

If your carb is original for the car, it is best to have it rebuilt. The jets, air bleeds, float level etc will be correct for THAT engine. Who knows what an ebay carb will have in it?

Rebuilding is a snap. The biggest wear area is on the throttle shaft but they make bushings to fix it. Pull it apart, clean everything, make sure mating surfaces are flat, replace accelerator pump seal, set float height.
