Wow, this one really hits home. In fifth grade, 1963-64, after a series of frumpy, matronly teachers, I got the "legend." Best friend's older brother warned us she was hot, but was strict as hell. Drop dead gorgeous redhead with brown eyes. In that era, Marilyn Monroe and Jackie Kennedy were fashion icons, Mrs. Badger (a divorcee!) alternated between their styles. Halter dresses like Marilyn, tailored suits like Jackie, but always with roach killer (pointed toe) stiletto heels and nylons. I was going to post a picture, but my wife hid it. I think this woman screwed up at least 100 baby boomer boys!
