As a kid I sold lemonade near a golf course for ten cents a cup during the summer months (Mom bought the lemonade concentrate). The golf course manager said I could no longer sell lemonade so I changed my price from ten cents to "free lemonade". The golfers who drank the lemonade I offered said I could not stay in business that way and volunatarily paid/donated twenty-five cents or more for a cup. Only one single male golfing alone drank a cup without ever paying even a penny. (This took place at the Brockway Golf Course at Kings Beach, Lake Tahoe, California circa 1965)
