What does a Mechanic Say?

yea.... one draw too many or.......
Too many draws open.....I mean drawers :D Had a shop teacher school me on how to speeel drawer back in the 8th grade lol Also, I'll have several open on most occasions but my roll away is pretty deep too. That one looks like it has a pretty narrow track.

 I once told a service tech that my fairly new Intrepid wouldn't go faster than 115 before the governor kicked it and wanted it to be at LEAST 125 like my 383 70 Challenger did. He looked at me like I was crazy! I'm thinking and said, hey man, I haven't been home from Germany for all that long and I'm used to going faster than that crap with a 4 banger German car!!! LOL BTW, my 4 banger car went 135 without any problem.

I had an intrepid rental over 130 mph.
A little east of LA just a couple weeks after 911.

Back in 1984 I bought a brand new Dodge 600 ES turbo 5 speed. It had the digital dash. According to the owners manual the US spec speedometers stopped at 85 mph (140 kph) but the Canadian ones didn't. I took the car back to the dealership a couple of days after I bought it telling them that they needed to reset the speedometer because it topped out at 140 kph. They kind of looked at me funny, but they fixed it.

Before the loaner/rental that the dealer let us use, I had a 95 Intrepid ES that was pretty nice. It too would fly not to mention it drove pretty nice. But it let my wife down twice and that was it for her. Never was much of a fan of FWD so I sold it and a really nice 90 3/4 ton Dodge Club Cab with a lift gate and ordered a 2000 Durango in Oct of 99. That one turned out to be a survivor of the wife that had pretty heavy feet. Couldn't believe it held up to her abuse for 18 years!

I can’t remember the last time I slept that long. After 6 hours, I’m wide awake. Every once in a while, I may get 7 hours sleep, but that’s very rare.
I did midnight tours as a diesel mechanic for 9 yrs & 21 yrs NYCPD.
“miles to go before I sleep”.
