The Dorks have gone next level!

If we really wanted to, we could criticize each other's cars until we're 6 feet under, including what the best brand of oil is, points or electronic, or what the correct degree of gloss is on a motor mount bolt head. If someone has their car looking a certain way, it's because that's the way they want it, whether it's restored or customized to their liking.

@chargervert, think of all the time you COULD have for working on your cars if you didn’t start and respond to the many threads you’ve written and answered to about dog dish hubcaps!
:)

And yes, I’m just poking the bear, I know you get a lot done!

I don’t like slotted mags, I think I’ll start a thread about my dislike for slotted mags! I’m also not crazy about E bodies, lime green or Plum Crazy paint, so I’ve got a lot of problems! :)

Variety is good. You can survey 100 people and there will be a variety of opinions on what they like.
I am curious though about how that applies to newer vehicles.
WHY the heck are the majority of newer vehicles either black, white or some variation of gray? Look on the freeway during heavy traffic and if you want to be invisible, you’d drive one of these three colors. Is that because the majority of owners prefer those colors or because the manufacturers are pushing them onto us?
I refuse to settle for what the majority chooses. I make my own decisions and if others like it, that is fine but nobody influences my preferences.
I like the look of old fashioned slotted wheels, Cragars, Keystones and even the factory styled steel wheels. Hubcaps and wheel covers look okay to me on cars until the late 60s. Seeing a 70s era car with the 9 or 10” caps just does not appeal to me.
White wall tires look better to me on cars not built for performance, like 318 4 door cars. I don’t expect others to agree or change their car to meet my opinions and if the owner was a cool dude, I’d never insult his car if it were different than what I like.

Now you have done it! You had to go and piss dubb off!

My ole grandpa cruiser is sporting white walls. It fits the car for the era. With the 175 shot of nitrous it surprises and/or beats most...

I'm glad I have boring run of the mill no fender tag no buildsheet B5 69 bench seat Roadrunner. But I have been told the pistol grip is not correct- I don't care,
It's mine. And it's got Torqthrusts if that offends anyone.
