Bee Experts…

The painted front bumper somewhat masks the hideousness of the front end.

I like the painted bumpers on the 70 Coronet. I also like the stylish front end.

usually the hood springs, fender bolts, tag screws, hood scoops are body color and the exhaust looks like it is hanging low?
It does look nice, but really needs to be inspected in person.
On the other hand, if you got the money ?

This thread is for prosperity at this point. Once I heard that the fender tag was suspect, my interest was zero.

At that price I would hope so.

As expensive as restorations cost, if it was done well and you wanted something to drive take to shows it might be OK, put pricy.
As an investment, or other purpose (trying to get it all factory correct?), I'd pass.

I think painted bumpers look good on '70 - '74 Chargers, but I have to be honest...I don't think it works for the '70 Super Bee. The bumper "goggles" look needs to stand out, whether you like that design or not, because it's essential to the Super Bee "face". When the bumpers blend in with the rest of the front, you lose that "face".

The painted rear bumper looks even more awkward, maybe because it's much bigger and sticks out more than the Charger rear bumpers.

A lot to absorb from the guys pointing things out that are wrong about it.. I've been looking forever for a car also, but won't settle for the wrong car.
I'd pass on it if I were you, as the better one will come along.

So I know there are some obvious incorrect things on this car, but it appears to have been put together well. I am looking for a Bee, and honestly, fit, finish, and quality of the work is more important than the correct color, or the other little things that aren’t right on this car. Has anyone seen this one in person? Opinions? I would rather buy from a private party, but I have been looking for a while. Picking are either slim or kinda junky…

At the end of the day, all that matters is do you like it!!

Exactly. Go look at it, crawl under it, spend your money or go home. The last thing I'd ever do is ask the world what they think of a car, as if it is really a gem you just helped them sell it to someone else!
