There's a group of about 12 girls here for a 21st birthday party. Been drinking non-stop since they got here about 2 hours ago.

This'll be good....

The truck has two spares now since imo, she needs 2!!!
I've always said that the problem with a spare tire is once you put it on, you don't have a spare tire!
I watched women's rugby and bitched about the lightning :BangHead:
I came across that yesterday for just long enough to say, 'That looks like women playing rugb-click!'

I went to my Son's place yesterday to help celebrate Granddaughter #2 and Granddaughter #4 birthdays. Granddaughter #2 and her boyfriend just recently had their offer to buy a house approved, so they were very happy. She also just got hired by the county library system, so was over the moon about that. The three oldest girls had their boyfriends there, while the youngest, just turning 14, had three of her high school chums attend. Grandson #1 had his girlfriend with him. My Son's wife's Mom and sister were also in attendance. The two Birthday Girls made quite a haul! Overall, it was a very full and happy home. These truly are the Golden Years for my wife and me!

There is nothing better then spending time with the grandkids.

I helped out my father-in-law and delivered a 1972 Buick Centurian to a place where a restoration will be completed.
When was the last time you saw one of these?

Here is a picture off the internet of one that is complete.

Just something fun about watching live stream of your Son wrenching on his Sister's car instead of you for a change, from 300 miles away...

Well, she has two spares now....the original spare (still new) is now on a alloy 'snowflake' wheel that matches the others that came on the truck. The used tire spare is now on the steel wheel. Now I get to rotate the five snowflake wheels or replace a flat with it if that happens again and I'm sure that will happen. Never knew anyone to pick up so much stuff with the tires lol. The last one was from a 12mm flanged head cap screw. So far so good as the tire it punctured and got booted is holding up.

Is the Centurian a Canadian version of the Electra?

It replaced the Wildcat for 1971 and later.

One additional note from the internet:
"Buick Centurion was a full-size automobile manufactured in the U.S. for the 1971–1973 model years, and while it was shipped to Canadian customers, it was not a Canadian-built or -designed vehicle."

Centurion is the smaller full size body with the big engine.

There was a 73 vert down here on CL for 4K a couple months ago.

I learned to drive in a 71 lesabre.
I drew a picture of it in HS as a "speeder" from Star Wars.
A few years ago, there was convertible 71 that was exactly the same color as the Star Wars Speeder.
I was very tempted.

Watched the inside of my eyelids mostly. Yesterday was my youngest daughter’s wedding, the day began at 6am and ended around 3am. The last few days leading up to it were crazy busy too. I’m tired and broke but it was worth it, she chose wisely…
