Could have been one of those scammers that answer WTB threads by private message. We've seen a few of those on here.
Yup...we always try to help where we can, but will not get involved in arguments like this.
I have done it several times in the past to try and help someone struggling, and each time I came out worse off......so there's one reason why we don't do it.

thank you very much for so many replies and helping me with my situation!!
I don´t wanted to directly post the members name here and start a so called "witch hunt" since I don´t know why he is not replying anymore.
Thats why I wanted to ask an "admin" or "staff", if there are some, if they can reach out to him or maybe know him.
May I send someone a private message with his name? To see if he repsonds to you?
It was luckily not about a lot of money but I was really happy to find a rare part. It was a rear view mirror for my 1967 Dodge Coronet.

About all we (staff) can do, if you give us the member name he uses here, is see if he is still an active member and the last time he posted. We don't have any access to his real name or address and we don't get involved in sales gone bad as far as contacting the member. If you don't wat to post his name here you can send us a PM with that information and we can check to see if he is an active member.

This is how you respond? Berating the victim? Maybe the OP is trying to be polite. Us brash Americans often put civility aside to get what we need but not everyone is as bold as we are.
I've spent my life working with thousands of people, some good and some bad. If this is truly the case and these are the facts, he should be exposed and neutralized for the sake of everyone. He's been allowed to run free and try it again. He got lucky, try it here on me and I'd pinch your head off and s**t down your neck. That's how I roll.....
I chatted with the OP and the seller is still active here. He has a 97% feedback rating with one member not receiving his part. He can post the sellers member name here if he want's to expose him to the group. That's his choice. I did suggest a negative feedback if it hasn't been done. The ball is in the OP's court.
