While packing for a hunting trip, and trying to get things tarped up before the forecasted rain, I decided it would be a good time to shoot some epoxy primer on a trunk lid. Seemed like a good idea to dangle it from a ratchet strap. Turns out, when you start spraying the paint gun "blast" rotates it a bit. So you just have to stick a finger in a hole somewhere to keep it from rotating. Part of my brain said this is actually working. Part of my brain said what would Eldubb440 say...The other part of my brain went to the other side of the barn where the cooler was.

If using a "hanging" method, you need two points to hang the part with reasonable tension.

Hmmmmm, so it appears that you paint your stuff indoors....I can see where that could be beneficial.

I do the exact same thing with my lift too. I spray small parts outside and bring them to the lift/rack to dry.

everytime i hang something to paint i know it's going to do this.. but i still do it...... i just don't learn
