Looks like I will be heading to the frame shop this week. Anybody know what the frame specs should be for a 68 charger? I can not get close to positive camber on my drivers side wheel so we are the thinking the frame is tweaked.:angry1: I have installed all new frontend parts and the upper and...
It was really nice of you to haul your dad's and your brother's car to the show in the trunk of your charger... think of all the gas money you saved them...lol
It's just alot cooler to say 440 when someone asks you what you got :-) Not to mention you will be helping to support the economy by filling up a little more often.
You may want to check your voltage regulator box. Sounds alot like what happened to me when I switched over to electronic ignition. also make sure that eveything is grounded (GOOD). That has bit me in the butt more than once.
From what you guys said I think my problem may be two fold. I did not see any plastic pins and the only parts on the end of the shaft were a pin with one retaining clip. I assume the seal is supposed to clamp onto the coupler but it never has. I Appreciate the help.
The shaft inside the steering column somehow came out of the steering coupler that connects to the power steering pump by a couple of inches while driving my charger the other day. Luckly I was just pulling back into my driveway when it came all the way out. I have taken apart the column and...
I just put in new carpet in today and was fixing to reinstall my gas pedal when I thought to myself "hey I don't want to reinstall this old granny pedal to the floor". Is there such a thing as an aftermarket pedal that connects directly to the pedal linkage, kinda like a chevy has?
Pistons are stock 73'. When I took the motor apart and took it to the machine shop was told the cylinders looked good and so it just got honed. Had the crank turned at that time also. This may not be anything but I'm going to mention it. This motor set for about 2 years after the rebuild. don't...
So really all i need to do is spend a little more time and money on this car.... lol, my wife is gonna love to hear that... I really do appreciate all the help guys. thanks.
Rebuild probably has around 50 miles on. I did have all the plugs out but throttle was not wide open. One other question, does the engine actually have to be hot before you begin this task? I tested it right after I drove it this afternoon and I actually melted a pair of mechanics gloves on the...

well crap!!! I just got this thing put together. I guess that is what I get for not knowing anything about dodges when I started. Why does it cost so much to learn a dang lesson??? I know where I can get some 68/69 model heads. Will it actually say 915/906 on the intake runner and if so which...
when you primed the pump which way did you turn it? I believe it turns counter clockwise. You can open up a cap on your valve cover and you should be able to see oil spouting around in there while your priming. If not you may have a blocked oil passage.
Cranky you lost me at dereed or align the dots. Below is the cam card. Let me know what you think.
