Direct Connection reccomends:

* Quote: The best raceing single four barrel manifold for the 340-360 is the Edelbrock LD-340 PN P3549884. Unquote*

Carb. recommendations:
Holley list #4553 Model 4150

Primary Jets Left #77 Right #80
PVCR Left .093" Right .093"
Secondary Left #88 Right #88

There is no way to give a good answer to this question. Intake selection will depend on the rest of your set-up, such as cam selection, cylinder heads, carb selection, rear end gear ratio, intended purpose for driving the car, etc.

For best results, pick all of your parts to match as a package. Put a race only intake on a mostly stock engine and you will be very disappointed.

thanks guys, its good to be back:) well i went from a double pumper to a holley 0-80457S 600. the enigne is completely stock..also im hoping to not have issue with the hood not closing bc of a massive intake.

Stock 340 you will want to stay conservative. I'd run either a stock intake or a good dual plane aftermarket along the lines of an Edelbrock Performer. Go wild with the intake without changing the rest of the engine and chassis to match and you could end up with an expensive shiny part on the engine that makes it slower than what you started with.

I had good luck with the old Edel. LD-340 dual plane. They do not produce them anymore but you can find them.

thanks guys for the help, i will keep an eye out for a LD-340 if not i will have to get a performer..

I had an old Offy that worked really well back in the 70s, If memory serves me correctly it was a 360 degree series intake.

LD 340 has served me well in the past but you may not find one easily or for very cheap. Also the factory iron 360 TQ intake works well. But if you want to put something aluminum then I'd consider a performer RPM. The standard performer seems to be very similar in design to the factory iron intake, but the performer costs a lot more :tongueflap:

kinda late to reply but i would go with the crosswind intake from professional products. they're 140$ castings are way better then edelbrock rpm AG and the ports actually line up.
