I tried to find a couple pictures with these rims on it, I think that you made the right choice, i have seen them before on the 71-2 and they are a great looking wheel..
i was also thinking about keystone classics on my 66 belvy II. i have only been able to find them in UNILUGS....which suck. do they make a 4 1/2 bolt pattern >>???
Here is a picture of them on a '69 RR that my brother owned in the early 80's. It had a 383 6-pack with a 4 speed. That was a fun car. Those rims had unilug too.
I understand not liking the uni-lug, i don't like them either and thats what i have now. But my next set of rims most likely will be the Key stones, even if i have to have them. I think they are one rim that looks good on almost any car.
UNI-LUG wheels are wheels that fit any bolt pattern...be it ford , chevy , mopar...or what have you .. instead of the wheel fitting nice and tightly on the wheel lugs....they are oval in shape and use a washer to take up the slack for that specific car. they are dangerous....sloppy fitting.... the lug nuts WILL NOT stay tight and they will break off the lug studs.....this is EXACTLY what happened to me in 1983 when i had my 1st road runner. it had keystone classics with the unilugs...i broke 4 out of the 5 studs on both rear wheels...AT THE SAME TIME......leaving the wheel being held on by only ONE stud and lug nut. ill never own another unilug wheel just because of that reason. DONT BUY THEM FOR WHAT-EVER REASON. if you have ANY kind of speakable horse power in your car,,,you are sure to eventually break studs off !:headbang: i love the look of the keystone classics...but I HATE UNILUGS!
