I've had a hayden single speed fan controller in my truck for several years now, no problems

I tried to use an adjustable single speed controller similar to the 3654 and three of them failed. Hayden would not refund my money. I ended up using a on 200/off185 grounding switch.

naw, it's pretty simple if you have basic wiring skills...The hardest part is getting the temperature probe into the top rad hose without kinking the probe wire, and getting the hose to seal up around the radiator neck after it's in there...i ended up using 2 hose clamps..this install was on a k1500 truck, which has a natural 45 degree bend in the rad hose directly after it leaves the neck connection, which made the probe installation process a pita...
