Heck i thought a year was to long.Dont know how some of you guys do it with those long term projects.I'd lose interest real quick looking at something hangin on a rotiserie forever.I sold a couple cars before hand and had the cash so i figured might as well "Gitter Done".

Fender tag says white stripe on this one...you ARE putting the correct stripe on aren't you Jay?
If not I'm going to have to give you your money back and demand the car be returned promptly!

Matt,Its coded for the light blue stripe but i am unsure yet.I have a pic of a 68 with that stripe and its a not a real common color so i may do it.I'll get a few underhood shots next weekend.This is one with lt.blue stripes,thoughts?

IMO, that blue strip looks good on it. And if it's not a common color so that just adds to the beauty of your car.
 
Jay, IMO that blue stripe would look great; and different. 98.9% of them are white. Plus it's on the BS too. way cool.

best part is, you could swap 'em out after a season if you dont like them.
 
Ive seen them with the white and like them but it does seem most have the white and this is a sharp contrast, I think it looks like the car, sweet!
 
Oh that's right, it was a blue stripe! Damn, messed that one right up didn't I?
It still applies though, you gotta put the blue stripe on it!

When i look at those 1st pics you posted last year it doesnt even seem like the same car.Out of all the cars i've done in the last 30 years this one is one of the better ones,definatly the coolest.I'll let you know how satisfied after its 1st drive this spring.I'm sure there will be a few bugs to work out,there always is.:)

Maiden voyage today,got wood and still have it along with a shiz eatin grin.lol
Couple rattles to take care of and bleed the brakes again and should be good to go.

Just read through your whole thread and the car is beautiful! Did you decide on the stripes yet? Blue would really stand out from the crowd (like there's a lot of 68 GTX's) If you put stripes on it I would absolutely go with them.
!
