I'm restoring my 69 SB to look and appear as it did off the show room floor, with the exception of front disc brakes and adding power steering.

My SB had Magnum 500's on it. I like Magnum 500's to some degree but find them a little boring.
Should I stick with Magnum 500's or consider spicing it up with something a little more flashier. I also like the Torq Thrust and Torq Thrust D's. Paste any links you think might blow my mind (not my wallet)
PS - If I do go with M500's what do you think about 15x10 on the rear and 15x8 on the front?
Thanks
Rusty (So torn)

I like both but you have to make your self happy . Its your car do what you want with it .
But if your going to the time and money to make it show room correct 500's would be the way to go .

They all make me happy. I'd like to have a pair of M500's, Torq Thrust, Foos, some new American Racing rims I've recently seen, which got me started on this wandering mind... I'm just taking a concensus.

Thanks for the feedback. I will probably lean that way... but I've been known to be impulsive.. haha.

I agree do what you like. Personally I've got the Crager SS wheels and I think I'd do something different if I could do it over again. I like the way the new wheel companies are doing an old school five spoke with a modern twist. I like the American Racing Authentic Hot Rod BLVD wheels. I like the look of the Crager's too but they also weight a lot.

Any of the ones you mentioned would look good, but imo you can't go wrong with torq thrust d's.

Would've gotten them for my Charger if I could get them in the size I needed without an expensive custom order (did 17's up front, 18" rear) But a set of 17's would look sharp and shouldn't break the bank. My 2 cents but either way :icon_thumleft:

Like the American Racing wheels....Downside, most of all their rims are made in China. Yeah, ironic...

Wouldn't your car have come with the road wheels being it's a '69? :

Good luck, wheels are a tough choice to round down.

Roadwheels had a beauty ring - correct? Nope - mine came with 14" M500's, which I had soda blasted and they were as chrome as chrome could be. They were not in the shape I want for my bee, so I sold them.

Do you have a photo of the AR Authentic Hot Rod Blvd wheel?

i have steel wheels with and without dog dishes and trim rings , centerlines , slotted mags , factory aluminum wheels , road wheels , and i just sold my cragars , all mounted up on tires so when i get bored i can just switch them out. im not done yet , i still need more. nothing like options.....

if you go to tirerack.com you can see them on a roadrunner.
