Can you decode this??? its suppose to be a 67 coronet R/T

Is this a real R/T??

Can anybody give me the correct decoded info???

Yes. The WS23 tells us it's a Coronet R/T hardtop.

I think $22000 is more than a fair price. But you've obviously seen the car in person so you would know better. Barring any huge defects and If a true r/t, I think what he's asking is fair.
 
I came up with: Dodge Coronet R/T 2 Door Hardtop, 440 cid 4-bbl HP V8, 3-speed automatic, 7.75X14 Read Streak Tires, October 10 build date, Vinyl Split Bench Seats, that was pretty much from the bottom line, some of the codes above that and a couple more - hope that helps...

You think $22k is reasonable for it even with some bondo on the car?

IDK, i see the guy on here selling his non r/t in buffalo and can't get $13k for his blue one that looks to be in same the condition or maybe even a little bit better…...

I think there is a big difference between an R/T and a non R/T. It's like the difference between a GTO and a LeMans.

Depends on how much bondo there is really. I would use it as a negotiating tool but don't expect it to affect the asking price much. And there is a difference between an r/t and non r/t. The non r/t will always be worth a fraction of its r/t brethren. I also should mention that I'm assuming these cars are rarer in Canada which means their asking prices are higher.

I only found bondo on the rear qtr, at the bottom behind the wheel well

$22k canadian is $19,300 US
 
If it already needs a respray, I would just have a new piece of metal welded in. If paint is good, then I wouldn't worry about it until the bondo possibly separates. I would shoot for $21000.

Still think this is a great price. Is this numbers matching

NON NUMBERS MATCHING...

doesnt need a new spray. looks pretty good...no dings or dents, body lines are good...

and he says the lowest he will take $18k canadian which is about $15,800 US...

he has a lot of cars and his son is really getting into go carts(the fast ones). He is selling to fund that adventure...

the engine is a C440 5 23 hp but the build date on the car is october…I was doing research and in 1967 and earlier, they don't have "numbers matching" as dodge didn't stamp the numbers on the engine..just the build date
 
Im obviously a newbie, but i have another question…is the fender tag number that starts with the ws23 suppose to match up with the vin number that is on the inside of the drivers door?

I just sold my brothers matching 67' GTX beautiful car for 24K. It was fairly priced. True, Chrysler didn't put the vin on the engine in 67', but that engine build date should be very close to the car date, and not after the build date. If it is after, clearly the car doesn't have the original engine. that fact does
