My 1968 Coronet 500

IIRC 1970 is the last year for left hand thread lug nuts.

Looking good Chase!

I have one hub with leftys on my drivers rear - 1967

People say quite often: "you know... some of those cars used to have left hand lug nuts on them" and I reply: "you bet your *** I know that, I got em on my driver rear right now!" LOL

Yeah I'm going to switch mine over to all RT hand thread.

I know I could write on the Fender and Qtr with grease pencil "Left Hand Thread Lugs" and the guy changing the tires or doing the alignment would still pound away with an impact and only ask after snapping a few...

Fortunately my '71 Satellite is RT hand already.

Its been way too long since I last updated,

I've been working on getting my parts car stripped and out of my garage. I got to the doors and that is when things kinda hit a snag. Whoever designed the '71 and up door glass should be drawn and quartered... the lifting tracks were rusted fast to the glass and impossible to remove... after spending a couple days cursing, sweating and cutting myself and got so mad at this rusted POS that I didn't go back in my gargage for a couple of months....

Finally my Dad got me back on track by continuing to send me pics of the new parts he has been buying for his '70 Challenger :icon_mrgreen:

Took a different approach... pulled out my air chisel and removed the glass from the outside of the door.... plenty of room without the door skins in the way.

Pulled out the dash... the A/C box, column support, etc.... car is nearly picked clean.

I've got the K-member bolts soaking... the driveline is next. And the cutting begins.

At least I cleaned off the Coronet :icon_thumright:
