Nearly done restoring this 1967 satellite and do not know what we should ask for it.

Some details:
  • Floors were patched not replaced
  • 1972 440 motor.. original was a 383
  • Freshly painted and very little filler
  • Rear quarters were patched in the past
  • Replaced door seals
  • Will have new radiator and transmission lines
  • Runs decent
  • 8.25 rearend
  • interior in decent shape
  • would have painted it the typical two tone but do not have the side trim
  • Bumpers are painted not chromed yet

We have a car show coming to town (Myrtle) on March 17th and plan on getting a space to try to sell it. Just have no idea where we should start on price. What do you think?

What's the interior like and the underside? Typical two tone? 67 Belvedere/Satellites typically were not two tone....

Put the original motor or same year and size back in if at all possible. Make sure whatever patchwork(whether floors or 1/4's) was done to a professional standard. When it's done with plenty of photos, you'll surely get some correct pricing info. My .02

If it's all together and running/driving then ask 7500.

Couple comments-

Is that firewall black? Kind of a shame since the rest of the bay is body color.

Are those Barracuda "V8" emblems?

67 Satellites could be two tone with silver/gray on the bottom below the trim. Quite common.

Radiator support looks bent, might be angle of pic.

383 with A/C. Interesting. 2 bbl or 4? RP23G or RP23H?

I see value in factory big block A/C bucket seat car.

Hi,
The two tones I have seen have a different color (Usually grey) below where the side trim goes. Interior is decent and seems to be all there. The floors are patched but solid now. Thanks

Looks like Michigan State Police blue. Knowing what it's like to do a 67 B-body, and knowing what I see there....It's at the expensive/difficult point of finishing it nicely. Were there hood-pin holes in the hood?

Getting closer. On it's way to get a new Windshield.

Thank you for you comments. IT does or did not have the hood post and busted on the patter paint. :)

Just have a few more trinkets to put on it and work out the drive train. It has been sitting a while so will give a tuneup and etc. Should be ready for the show next month though!

Sorry I put this in the wrong forum. Will do better next time. Thanks
