Newbee in Seattle here. Just bought a new to me 69 Coronet. Modified 340 (early block) rebuilt 4 speed, sure grip 3.55 8 3/4 rear end.

Not sure why it has a 340 other than the guy before me really liked them. So far, I really like them also!

First things to tackle:
Leaking right angle oil filter adapter.
Un-usable speedo and fuel gauges

Looking forward to learning and contributing.

welcome to the site .
I've been running no adapter and a "tea cup " oil filter for clearance , just another option

I thought about removing and going with a tea cup but the hooker headers provide zero room. I feel like they would be too close for comfort to the filter. If I can't get the adapter to seal up I think I will go remote.

She's sweet. Love the color. It stands out. Welcome to the forum. Best place for b bodies on the net.

Welcome from Southeastern Arizona! I am also working on a 69 Coronet, but the 4 door version. Beautiful ride! It looks like it is pretty much ready to drive, congrats and enjoy!
