Thanks for posting up the old pic's, about 2/3 of the way thru the mopar section is a pic of a altered wheel base dodge and a 65 plymouth, the dodge is the old kentucky colonel a/fx, car, the fellow driving that car is David Heath, a very nice guy who passed from cancer a few years later, he got me started in drag racing when I was 15 yrs old. two things I caught from David, Mopar fever, and drag race fever, thanks Dave, you are not forgotten. Me too. True car guy. I lost that high-school/single brand mentality, when I was in my 20's. Lots of my buds had bad-*** brand-X cars.

1976,had a shot at a 69 hemi daytona,,,$1600.00. Wasn't quite quick enough.

I compete long range rifle with a guy that is Navy retired. He's about 80 and was on deck and watched 2 tests in person back in the 50's. He has to get shots into his eyeballs just to see anymore. Said he could see the bones through his hand like an X ray when they went off. Heck of guy and can still shoot awesome. The crazy stuff they did back then.
 
its sad but I bet we still do this but something a lot worst :eek:

You mean geico , tampax, tide, army, depends, walmart, etc....aren't names? Damn it!!!
