FBBO window sticker affixed - reckon it's official now

So glad to see that you have arrived safely again from clutches of Cancer.

Your recovery with family around and nearby will be as good for them as it is for you.

Full speed ahead - Bob

Hey Bob, great to hear from you!
Yessir, so far so good. I reckon the real verdict is yet to come in two weeks when I go back and they tell me the results of all
the tests and biopsies and such, but at the very least, I walked my happy *** out of that place under my own power.
They warned me that today was actually going to be the worst in the recovery and I will admit to feeling pretty droopy, but
it's all good until they give me reason to think otherwise.
It's just me, my wife and Sasha the wonder dog here, with many well-wishers and friends cheering me on from afar. :)

Awww she's a cutie. :)
Yep, Sasha is another "rescue" from our local shelter - and one I didn't pick,
but that's a story in itself.
I should give folks a break on my stories for a while methinks.

Best of luck Ed and a speedy recovery. It's hard to keep a good man down and you've proven that.

I don't know about all that "good man" stuff my friend, but THANKS! :)
I'm already threatening to take the GTX out for a drive since today is so very gloriously GORGEOUS outside (after weeks of oppressive heat, humidity and storms).
My wife, God bless her, is correcting my obviously skewed sense of recovery, however...
she's been on enough drives in it with me to know my protestations of "it's an easy car to drive" are patently BS. :)

Keep that sense of humor, it works well

In lieu of actually driving the GTX today, I instead decided to clean up the garage a little bit after the recent cooling system work on her.
I got the GTX fired up and backed out of the garage, then went about sweeping and throwing oil dry down:

By that time, I was wheezing and staggering around like Fred Sanford, so my wife snatched the broom out of my hand and
sat my happy *** down, firmly.

Recovered a bit, then went to check on the GTX:

Yeah, she's ok. Wife is ok. Dog is ok.
I'm ok.
Everybody is ok.
Time to get her back up into the shop and call it progress....

I told y'all - I ain't done yet. :thankyou::thumbsup:
