I just retrieved a 77 pickup from North Carolina. I guess it's my Christmas present! Needs some TLC but all original truck with 318. Seems like it's all there. Been looking for a club cab short bed for a few years.

Anyone on the forum here with a hoard of 70's truck parts?

Yes; that would be me with the hoard of mid 1970's club cab truck parts. At one time I had a 1976 W200 club cab Adventurer Sport with the camper package. I purchased a bunch of NOS and used trim, rubber, electrical and mechanical parts to restore my truck but sold it and kept the parts.

I am fairly local so if you need parts send me a message. Nice looking truck, good luck with it!

Thx! I get to NJ for work so that makes it easy for sure. I'll start working on it over the holidays, after I get started I'll get an idea for what parts I'm missing.

No parts but love that style. I had a 74 W200 years ago.

Get a parts manual, lots of NOS still floating around for these. I got all my door and window weather strip NOS for mine. Fun trucks to play with.

I have a 78 Club Cab short bed. Congrats nice truck!

I did order a FSM off eBay. Post office has been sitting on it. Should be here this week hopefully.

Thx!

Nice truck!! I had a 1978 W200 years ago. 8 inches of lift 44 inch tires and a 1968 440 and a 4 speed. Man I miss that truck.

Change out all the fluids, tune it up, do some brakes and then drive the **** out of it. Love the patina

if Dan doesnt have everything you need, and its a specific part, lmk,
i also do those older dodge trucks and have you could say..
a few of them

ps that truck you got sits really good.
Congrats!

Cool truck, always had a fondness for them years

love the old club cab short beds from the 70's

No hoard or parts anymore
I had a few great Power Wagon's in my past
might even do a build of an early 68-69-70 PW, in the future
depends on a lot of factors :poke:
I want to do a "Dude" version -hoped up- tribute too

make sure to check out http://www.fortrucksonly.com

enjoy the Power Wagon

On these trucks, be aware that the front axle wheel bearing design is not too good. Make sure the bearings are good and well lubricated. If they start wearing and get sloppy, they will screw up the inside of the steering knuckles. Then it gets into $$$ Ask me how I know? Remember, I have had three full time 4wd's from the 70's. A common misconception is that tightening the big nut at the front hub will tighten loose bearings. Wrong....DON'T ask me how I know........
