Qa1 lower control arms

No they came in the kit as well as the uppers I just haven't got it all on yet.

Maybe at one time they did but not now. If you want new adjusters you have to order them separately, #52360. The directions say you can use your old ones if you want.

Not trying to put words in your mouth James but are you refering to more of an autcross benefit as opposed to the term " Protouring"?
Its just what it sounded like to me, as everyone might have a varied interpretation of the Protouring definition. But suspensions are your domain!!!:D
Thanks

I just ordered it and got it 4 days ago.

Here is the kit, comes with them clearly and I do have them in hand....

I can also beat this listed price for anyone

I can confirm the old adjusters fit. Great build quality. I'm working on getting my stuff back under the car so I haven't ridden on them yet.

Uhhhh....apples and oranges. When you order JUST the lower control arms, the adjusters don't come with them. Not everyone orders the complete front suspension. BTW, they don't offer the aftermarket K member for the 62-65 cars.

Ok???

I showed a pic of my entire kit. That's what I was talking about, not what you were...I respect your input you are very knowledgeable but seems you are pickin here....

I'll clarify. The OP asked about the lower control arms and whether he could use the original adjusters. You stated that you received them with the kit, meaning the complete front end set-up. When I said that they didn't come with the kit, I meant the LCAs. Not trying to be confrontational. Sometimes things come across wrong in these posts. I value your comments as well...

UPDATE:

Got things about buttoned up, pulled the trigger on a set of dynamic strut rods also, boy are they nice. Everything fit perfect, still have to make some adjustments. Got the wilwood caliper brackets mounted also

Really keen to see how the viking shocks go, I'm keen for some shocks that can drag and 'autocross', if thats possible.

Got some good reviews m, I've talked to a few guys I know that run them and they love them. Double adjustable is a huge plus

I know this is an old thread but wanting to get a little more info from those of you that purchased the QA1 LCA. Mine were purchase over 2 years ago for my 69 Coronet and I am just starting the assembly now. The car was totally dissembled 2 1/2 years ago and that process and the parts I removed escape my memory. In fitting these up, I have slack on the nut side of the shaft, toward front of car. I didn't receive any type of bushing with the QA1 kit to take up that slack and wondering if I need to go back to QA1 for a bushing to fit their product or a Mopar vendor to get a new bushing and which one is it? In the Classic Industries catalog, there are two listed for the LCA. One is short and one appears to be longer but no explanation of where each is used and why are two listed? In looking at the service manual, I see a bushing listed but unclear as to its actual shape or if it is needed with the QA1 set up. The QA1 fit up is metal shaft to metal sleeve sliding through the K frame, it would seem there is some type of bushing needed. Any help or explanation would be appreciated gents.

Seeing the picture of their k-frame reminded me of a question I had for one of the QA1 people, Mopar guy too, at the SEMA show years ago when they introduced it. The question was, what happens when you put a floor jack under it like you would do a stock k-frame. Answer after thinking about it was make sure you bridge both tubes. He was cautious about that reply too.

Let me know if you need any pictures. My lca just came with a washer and a lock bolt. I also have the qa1 k member. Only issue I’m having is that the lca is either set too low or too high with the torsion bar. So either I get no shock travel or can’t get the lower control arm to bolt onto to the spindle

Reviving this thread for a moment. If factory lower control arms are worn out could that be the popping I hear when I back out of the driveway? Everything else is brand new. The only thing not new was thee lower control arms. New PST inner and outer tie rods. New upper control arms, pitman arm. Still cannot get rid of the popping. Also the 2 struts that go from the k member to the lower control arms are original. Maybe those?
