Hello pals! yes its that time again 70 find!

" I do more in a week or two then guys do in years ."

" If you're doing that well, then why screw around with all these bottom feeder project cars?
Why not just spend the 35-40 grand and buy what you say you want?
"

it looks like Rich really asks all the right questions.

For me, it's about building them. Once I'm done, I'm bored. Time for the next project.

you are very lucky sir,
99% of my cars come in get fixed up enough to be viable to the guy whos gonna finish it and away they go to their new homes.
i havent completely finished a car since the 70 got stolen, eons ago.
i still dream about that car, silly i know.

i fully realize that im a small fish swimming in a big pond here.
i dont think you realize that you too are a small fish @ wants,
because i seriously dont see 35k worth of mopar there....
and it looks like you are trying to impress these guys.

instead of impressing them, try listening to them,
you might find yourself in a much better car or place.
i saw a 70 in vit c go for 15k the other day,
and it was as good if not better than the car you show us here.

just the condition of the body around the fender tag speaks Volumes of the real condition of the entire car.
i suspect we will hear a lot of grumbling and needing of parts once you get this latest " find " home.
that being said, best wishes that the car is better than thought.
15k i highly doubt tha,t havn't seen anything near 15k running and not rusty for 20 years, You cant put a price on survivorsn they demand the most money dents and all

Did you really change your avatar to a car you don’t own and isn’t for sale..

congrats on the purchase
I hope it's what you were looking for

make sure you post up 'good photos'
when you get it home

i was highly tempted to ask him his age after his retorts.
i figured maybe? that was his excuse for his reasoning flaws.
i really cant understand why he cant respond to simple questions either.
like what happened to the 70 charger...
or how much did he pay for the 20 grand tops car he just bought?

also,to those who think not telling people what you bought or paid for a car like this is smart,
or doing anything beneficial for the hobby?
you are wrong.
that just helps keep the market inflated high,
because noone knows what the real prices are doing.
if you Want to see more mopars getting restored and fixed up,
then perhaps it would be " smart " to consider that as well.

keep in mind that all it takes is some young kid runs into this guy,
sees his car and Takes His Advice runs right out there and buys some resale red,
in this case orange beater for mad monies.
and now theres another one upside down in a b body.
and never finishes it and now hates cars because of it....its a Fail.

that car probably needs every bit of the suspension and brakes gone thru much less anything else.
thats just from looking at the pics,
i dont have anything personal against this guy im just eyeing the car and doing the numbers.

that,is why i make comments about pricing.
i hope you guys understand where im coming from.

and to the op,congrats on getting the car you wanted.
heres hoping you keep it and finish it.
ps,i still would like to know what happened to the charger.
thanks.

I bought the Charger, I am over in the Newbie area and also in General engine trying to sort out a vibration it has. Overall I was happy with the price because yeah it does have issues but it was also priced way under what a 'perfect' one goes for, so I was ready for some wrenching on it if that makes sense.
