Hello,

I just completed my restoration on my 69 Roadrunner. I am running all stock suspension components. I did install the Moog Upper offset bushing in the control arms. They are not installed like the instructions. The arrows are opposite to each other. I have the Plymouth service manual, can I use any of those specs. I believe those specs are not for radial tires. It's just a weekend big block stroker street car.

Hi. Shoot for -.5 to -.75* camber, 1/16" toe in and all the positive caster you can get.

I liked running close to -2 on my camber. My front tires were 225-75-15's on my 66 Belvedere and it made a very noticeable difference in handling even without sway bars. Also lowered the front end a good inch or so.

Not to side track this thread..but it is alignment related. I ordered and replaced the strut bushings with polyurethane ones and installed on stock struts. I was reading threads/ blogs the other day which stated something like" you never get correct camber adjustment with the new polyurethane bushings, they won't adjust that much"! Have I screwed up using these and will I end up replacing with rubber? I have the QA1 upper and lower a arms and they had to be totally loosened up to get struts in. I am not ready to have alignment done yet but would like to get FBBO members opinions before I get it to the alignment shop...if I need to rework this set up. Thanks

If you have the QA1 uppers and lowers it should be fine, they would work together and give better settings I would image. Bushing type should not make alignment more challenging, the polys will just not deflect as much as rubbers when driving.

QA1 should have recommendations on what to expect for alignment.

These guys run a lot of negative camber but the ‘get the most positive caster’ is the goal.
