‘64 Chevelle at Wicker Park in Highland, In. July ‘19. The owner said the straight front axle is a modern designed “bolt in” package. It made street driving much better than in the old days.

The ‘64 was built similarly to those Gassers of the era.

The rear battery cut off switch was this cleaver large size die that also called out the year of the car ::: Sixty :: Four.

Well ceramic headers are a modern touch.

A sneaky Gasser was trying to quietly slip by my rain soaked ragtop

at the Route 66 Chicagoland Speedway Aug. 17th. The rain finally stopped at 5pm and the 1320 was dried off.

Racing proceeded into a beautiful night and all in the world was good again. The flat black Nova disappeared into the night.
