Anyone know the size of the adapter piece for the power steering hose? It's that male/male fitting that screws into the power steering box and allows you to screw in the ps line. Nothing local so I have to order it online and there are a few sizes.

You can take your old one to a NAPA store and they will make a replacement for you. Just make sure to bring all the pieces you have as they will be able to completely match it up like the original...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

Thanks but I don't have the original. Previous owner took out the lines and that fitting. Putting in a new Firm Feel.

IIRC the thread size in the box is 1/2-20 with a copper crush washer and the hose side is -6, 6an, 6jic.

Depending on the year, it's either a 1/4" male flare, or a 5/15" male flare. If you have the PS hose, measure the tubing at the box end.

Thanks for the replies. Luckily found a male/female fitting in my drawer and used it to test the box and hose threads and it fit. Now just need to order up the male/male.

probably not an issue, but be aware that later (80's) ones were metric!

just in case the counter guy says he has one in the back
