1st time results of HEMI at track

Not that I'm asking anyone to dredge up old BS, but NENDRA seemed to go from a good thing that was fun and appreciated to a dumpster fire, with a lot of personal issues involved.
From the outside looking in, I don't understand and I don't really need to, but I wish, for instance, there were repetitive regular F.A.S.T. races down here in the South :confederateflag:

The NENDRA members revolted against the KING and started their own group known as NODRAMA.:lol:The mebership increased the day after the revolt.
As far as Factory appearing racing,if you feel there are 16 or more that would enjoy this class I'd bet you could get great advise on how to start and run such a group!
You could also have exhibition cars like mine,I tag on the back of the SUPERCARSERIES run by Ralph Barbagallow.Google him.

Mike, I was just asking if it was a SS Hemi.
Do you have a dyno sheet or did the seller give you that information?
I guarantee that hemi wont like anything over 7500 rpms.
I wonder if you got Millineum hemi heads.
How much HP did it suppose to make?
Sorry. I don't know what you mean by "SS Hemi". I don't know what you mean by "millineum" Heads. I am just an old school racer and ran my first HEMI car (a true A990 4 speed) during the entire 1967 season....so yes I do have experience running Hemi cars...although it was 51 years ago...LOL.
The motor was originally built by DICK LANDY ENTERPRISES and made 1100HP on their Dyno. I have "refreshed" not only the complete motor and trans (Pro-Trans) but the entire car...brakes, tires, driveline, Dana, Wiring, Cooling, etc, etc, to the tune of over $13,000 before I put the car on the start line recently.
The car is now rock solid, fast and safe and yes, I will set the shift lite to at least 7500 on my next outing, open up my variable restrictor plates to 100% flow, set the rear tires at 9lbs, put a 5000RPM chip in the transbrake and give it hell.
The car went straight and true all the way down the track at over 140mph on my first outing...so I now have no concerns about the car.

Mike what size slicks are you running out back and what is the weight of the car.
And why didn't you put the hood on?
Stage V makes a Big Valve head, a replacement Hemi head and a Millinieum Hemi Head which makes the most power by 75-80 HP.
Good luck on your next outing.

Mike, the guys that run Hemi Superstock/AH run a stock head that has been worked, stock blocks, etc.
They spin them to 9000 rpms plus and cross the traps at over 10,000 rpms
Valve springs last 10 passes, there ProTrans 727s are freshened every race.
8.62@156 mph in July car weighs 3317.

Got yer attention LMAOOOOOOOOOO,did you get booted from YB a,so??:poke::cursin:

It would be nice if we could get back to where there was no old personal bullshit always getting dragged into things. Mr. Gaines just got himself a wild Plymouth with a hemi. Let's all use our experience and knowledge and help Mike along. I for one don't have what he needs at that level, but there sure is a lot of guys here who sure can help him along so let's all do that guys.
Good luck Mike!

I think Mike is doing real well!! That car will go into the 8's when he unleashes the angry elephant:lowdown:. When you see some of the pictures when mike was driving an AWB car,,,,this thing sounds like a mouse to drive.
Also Mike,if you get a chance to go test some more you can just run the 1/8th and get on the breaks to trip the beam. Then could come out hard and get a hold of your 60 and 1/8 increments:bananaweed:

Yup....the crap needs to go away and now!
I certainly didn't mean to kick a hornet's nest. :wetting:
