Todays Coronavirus Update along with news about Global Warming....

Hey, I’m just toeing the party line here. I mean, I have a grade 12 education, I have to know more then scientists. No reason to believe that future generations are going to be any smarter.
My buddy that drives truck is a pretty sharp feller. He heard those scientists were only in it for the money. Personally I blame everyone that doesn’t look like us.
Take your meds. Your responses here are becoming increasingly annoying.

How so? Like I said I’m just spouting the rhetoric, trying to fit in. I have three big vehicles and heat my house with gas. However Kerndog, I value and respect your opinion and will stop now. At some point in the future I may offer you the same advice. We’ll see if you take it.

The overwhelming majority of classic car owners lean a very certain way. To lean the other way runs totally opposite of classic car ownership.
As a traditional Classic American car owner, I accept the:
Bad gas mileage.
Excessive emissions
Respect for American History.
These cars of mine get driven less than 2000 miles a year though, producing almost no impact.
Many on the other side would gladly support a ban on these old cars.
Why support ideology that would endanger your rights ?

I walk straight, leaning neither way.
I think for myself, not what politicians on either side
tell folks to think!!!!!!!!

Oh no, not AGAIN? Climate change? Again? Sigh, I'm tired of explaining this crap to people. I'll stay out of this one. You all have fun.

Too bad the OP was a little careless with sources. What you have here is a classic example of propaganda. It has Part truth with some fake salted in. Don't worry, that left wing CATO institute reposted so you're in good company. A story on this topic where some of the material came from was published, but it didn't talk about sea level rise and (that was added to sway people - did it work? I mean did you really sit back and say this is too good.). It has been floating around for a while now. It was also taken from Associated Press by an earlier incarnation of the Washington post that very different values than it does today. Bottom line, it was reporting the news that came in from Associated Press on a local phenomenon.

Now let's get to the non political and highly tasteful memes with Hillary and Nancy.

Don’t forget that turtle head in charge of the senate!

The Al Gores of the world are selling the problem and the solution, and it sounds like some are buying it!They are technology pimps who have billions invested in their green energy agenda, and while they live in huge mansions, and ride around in limousines and private jets, they want the masses to drive around in little electric cars that I believe the batteries that power them may do far more damage to the environment than a regular fossil fuel vehicle will. So drink the koolaid they are selling!

If you really want to have some fun, try looking up just what carbon foot print is left building, installing, and running wind turbines and how long before you have to replace them. Like the Xcel Energy's Ponnequin Wind Farm on the border of Colorado and Wyoming. The farm of 44 turbines recently retired at the average age of 18 years old. More fun can be had by looking up the carbon footprint for a solar panel. As of 2015, China is the largest producer and buyer of solar panels. Now the US, through the EPA, controls what a poly plant can put in the air but does China? I did my own research on this, and have formed my own opinions based on what I learned with the $89K I spent to be a wildlife biologist. I could tell you what I believe but then what good would that do. Take a few hours and dig into this if you really want to know. Might just surprise you as to what is really happening and how powerful groups on both sides skew the facts to support their talking points. As always, Knowledge is power.

Here in the Houston area, we might break a high temp record that's 130 years old. The talking heads said that for yesterday too but didn't make it and the prediction today has been lowered to 'only' 90. The record for this day in 1890 was 94. So, with only about 63M people back then vs 328M as of last year.......well, y'all know where I'm going with it lol

the talking liberal weather heads were screaming possible broken heat records for two days in row of 87* set way back when steel wheels didn't exist. boy were they sad when it didn't even hit 84*

What about the averages 500 years ago or 5000 years. It’s like guessing what ET you run with a wrist watch
