I was just curious about everyone's favorite oil ? Might be interesting to see if there is "One Stand Out".

My cars get Valvoline VR 1, and my trucks get Shell Rotella. For cooking, bacon grease works on a lot of things.

Cars, bikes, boats, trucks n off roaders all get Rotella synthetic.

Flipant answer, i know. Favorite oil is whatever is in the garage, whatever was on special. Ive got some diesel oil, either chevron or castrol, that i mix with racing oil for my 62, pure castrol diesel for the pickup, and either royal purple, mobil one for the camaros and the opel. Run straight castrol racing in the tina, solid roller doesn't need extra zinc. I am going to try the costco synthetic, research says it's quite good, and it is seriously inexpensive compared to mobil one or royal purple.

Brad Penn, 20 x 50 the green oil, for the 64.
because of its ingredients zinc for the older motors.
This is being used in a 440 magnum.

My street vehicles have gotten Castrol GTX for years (5-30, 10-30, 10-40 depending on the motor). "Back in the day" for my drag car I used Valvoline Racing, Kendall Racing, Q State. Had deals with Kendall & Q State, the Kendall always came out the cleanest, why.... really good ring seal those years... maybe? Q State worked OK. My new 512 gets Brad Penn/Penn Grade (old Kendall formula). Have also used Lucas Racing in my 500", seemed great, no observed wear. Drag motors got 20-50.

After reading these answers one can only conclude that it doesn't matter what brand is used. Just needs to be changed on a regular basis.
I like bacon grease to crisp the whites on my eggs!

I've used Castrol GTX 20-50 and 10-40 in my dailies and classics for almost 4 decades with no engine fails.

I was given a couple cases of various racing oils that have been sitting on a shelf for years. They are old enough to be loaded with zinc, but are generally too heavy to use as they are. So a blend with diesel oil works for me in a solid flat tappet motor.
I blend the gas i use in it, and the other two high compression cat-less cars too.
