Here's a picture of the new reproduction fan shroud I install on my 22" radiator. They were standard on 426 and not available on anything else. I had my radiator customized

and the shroud should also help my stock 383

Bargains , had to find., I did find this and had mine done. I hadn't even thought of getting it rebuilt till I heard a comment that they always leak. I'm rebuilding my heater box and this is the last item to get,

I was sure I read it but since I can't remember where and prove my statement, I'll retract it. sorry if I got anyone shook up.

Not sure what they came on but the factory didn't put them on many cars. Maybe a HD cooling package or something. I saw an original once in a wrecking yard and I thought I should grab it. I came back for it with some tools and it was gone. Never saw another one. They were heavy and crude looking but better than nothing. I eventually put a later model plastic shroud on my '65. It works great but of course it doesn't look original.

Look for a 64 or 65 Chrysler C body shroud. They came standard on all 383 engines AC equipped cars which most Chrysler C bodies had. Fit perfect in my 64 Polara. Got the 22" radiator, steel 2 piece shroud (2524984) & steel 7 blade fan (2780921) off Craigslist for under $200. a few years back. Good Luck

I've got a question. Does it matter which heater coil tube coming out of the firewall ( hose), goes to which water pump tubes, I know on later models ie 68-69 BB, there is a picture which shows the flow. I can't seem to find one for the 1965 B body Big Blocks. I appreciate any help.

Sounds like you need to buy a service manual.

As I stated in my text, there isn't anything regarding which hose goes where (that I could find). otherwise I wouldn't have bothered the forum, Thanks for your direction

does it have AC? standard on cars with air
Mine did! Compressor was locked and the a/c box inside had cracks in it so it got taken out. I'm going with Vintage Air in the near future.
