Thanks, I have that valve in the rear brake lines.Yes Jay That is for manual brakes, they are different plates. Yes a round hole and higher up for power brakes.
Disc brakes cars will have another valve in the rear brake line about a foot back from the main valve.
I bought this master cylinder with the intention of running with manual brakes, at least for a while and this is what inline tube sold me but I don't see the grove for a locking ring?The are no factory manual disk brakes on 1966-1970 B-bodies. Somebody has been swapping parts.
there is no reason why you cannot run with manual disc brakes. I like how they work.
Your master cylinder needs to have the ring cut inside the piston for the pushrod retainer. Most disc brake master cylinders do not have that. Very dangerous to run without the pushrod being retained to the piston.
