71 Super Bee

These pics show me how good Gull Wing spoilers look on a 71 Charger.. The finish is faded, it's bowed in the middle, and the paint is flaking off the supports, but it's the car's original fiberglass Gull Wing and it is NEVER coming off the car as long as I own it. Just let that sink into your head Mr. Spoiler Hater.

I've posted some photos of my junk pile car, why don't you post some photos of your piece of junk Charger? I want to see how shitty yours looks like with no spoiler on it..

Here's my sh!tTy non spoiler Charger.......Have at it and enjoy.

Don't get me wrong, I like '71 Chargers and yours is nice. I just prefer to have no wing.

One day I would like to get a '71 Charger, make it all flat black, no vinyl top, bench seats, sweep cluster, auto column, BB w/headers, power bulge hood and either Torque Thrust/Cragar/Aluminum slot wheels. Weird combo I know, someone probably would make fun of it. I guess that would be payback for me making fun of your car.

We all have different likes. I said what I did in my initial response to your shitty spoiler comment because I’ve seen you repeatedly, in the past, hating on these spoilers. I don’t know what you expect to gain by doing it. The people like me who own cars that have these spoilers on them aren’t going to unbolt them and throw them in the trash because you’ve told us they look shitty. That’s your opinion, but you know what they say about opinions..

I have owned my 72 for just over 30 years, half it's life it was Y8 and no spoiler. I wanted to make some changes so I went B5 and added a spoiler.

A lot better than my all green 71. But that is getting ready to change. Thinking of going with black interior instead of 70's green.

There is always someone who feels that their opinion is the only one that counts. If your name isn't on the title then your opinion ultimately doesn't matter.

I am referring to the people coming on here (and other places) hating on (in this case) spoilers. You see it a lot when it comes to wheels and tires, stripes, hood scoops, etc.

I've got a gull wing on my 72. I like it, seems wrong not to have one. As far as hating... I really don't like the 70 Go Wing type spoiler (the ones that angle down sharply on the ends) on these cars. I don't like those on any car, really.

Obviously the whole wing thing is subjective as is so many other aspects of classic car ownership. I like the Gull wing on the 71+ cars and the Go wing on the 70's. On E bodies I prefer the AAR and TA spoilers (which I have on my Challenger and Cuda). I am planning on running a Go wing on my 70 RR and a Gull wing on my 71 Charger.

Sorry, Have not updated this thread in awhile. I never got to go look at the car due to all the travel restrictions, and I sort of forgot about it. Last week the seller contacted me and said he know needs to sell, I just happen to be going to Kauai this week, and next week, he is available to show the car next week. Hopefully things work out and the car is as nice as the pictures. Keep everyone posted.
